What a great time we had yesterday! Thanks to everyone who showed up and played and helped. Here are some pictures from the day.

Details of specific dates/trips:
* Open Gym and Youth Center times for Youth (various dates): Parents, please note that there has been a slight change from the schedules handed out at the Parents/Youth meeting last night. The times of the Gym and Youth Center days have been changed from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Jr. High MSM Team meeting (Wednesday, June 24th): Team members are required to be present with at least one parent present. Please bring your completed information and release forms, as well as a photocopy (back and front) of your insurance card.
Mission Man Triathlon (Saturday July 25th): Youth volunteers will be needed for this event. The Missions Committee of the church has very graciously donated a portion of the proceeds from this event to the Youth Missions funds, and the youth are always out in force to help.
Vacation Bible School (July 27th-30th): Youth volunteers will be needed to help with a variety of roles.
* Climbing Gym (Wednesday, August 5th): $15 per person, and we need at least 10 to qualify for the group rate.
* Emerald Pointe (Monday, August 10th): $24 per person + own spending money for food. Need 15 to qualify for group rate.
* Durham Bulls game (Friday, August 14th): 25 tickets already pre-purchased, available for $10 each on a first-come, first-served basis. We will be staying for post-game fireworks as well.
Please note that all marked with an * require adult help. Please let me know if you will be available.

Also, please take note of the following:
1. We will leave at 2:00 pm from the church parking lot for the District Chicken Pickin' this Sunday. Cost will be $5 each and includes dinner. Come join us!
2. We will be helping at the Loaves & Fishes Canned Food Drive on Saturday, May 9th, from 2:00 to 6:30 p.m. 8 to 10 volunteers will be needed, and you can sign up to come in shifts. Please let me know as soon as possible if you can make it.

Front Street UMC has a youth ministry that strives to provide a community of love, encouragement, fellowship, and sanctuary for those who walk through the doors. The Youth Director is assisted by a dedicated team of volunteers with all facets of the ministry.
The UMYF offers several different opportunities for youth to participate:
Sunday Evening UMYF
5:30 Snack Supper with Confirmands ($3 each)
6:00 Junior High and Senior High UMYF
(Check with church office for schedule)
UMYF Small Groups
Youth meet outside the traditional church setting with trained adult leaders. The youth are divided into 2-year age brackets by their school grade (7th/8th, 9th/10th, 11th/12th grades).
Breakfast Club
On Wednesday mornings during the school year, youth meet at area restaurants to hear a devotion and then have breakfast together. Adult leaders and parents assist with the carpooling duties.
